Abstracts

The Brain Conference 2021 is currently open for abstract submission! The deadline for submission has been extended to the 25th of January from the original date of the 15th. Submissions can be made through our external database. In addition to poster presentations, 2 abstracts will be accepted for an oral presentation per session topic. Prizes will be available for best poster and best oral presentation.

To be considered for an oral presentation, submitted abstracts must be within the remit of one of the Topic Sessions in the Brain Conference 2021 (see here for full list of Topic Sessions). On submission, you will be asked to indicate which Session your abstract is related to. Abstracts will be judged by the allocated session chairs and a small number will be accepted for a virtual podium presentation session. Please make sure you are able to present online on either the 4th or 5th of March when submitting. Abstracts will also be considered for a virtual poster session.

Abstract guidelines

Tips for Abstract acceptance
  1. Submit early!
Plan to write, review and submit your abstract well in advance of the deadline. Aim to leave plenty of time for writing, proofing and getting through the logistics of submission.
  2. Submit your best research
Regardless of if your work has been previously presented, published or is on-going, we want to hear about it.
  3. Register and submit online
All abstracts should be submitted online here and requires registration to the abstract submission system first. Abstracts are limited to 3000 characters each and you can attach a maximum of 2 additional figures with your abstract.
